BOYS HIGHLIGHTS
This was a great showdown between Bernards and Parsippany with Bernards coming out on top, 49-47. Bernards finished a close second to Parsippany in the meet-concluding 4x400 to secure the 2-point win.
Senior Patrick Griffin won the 800 (2:01.51) and ran in the relay for Bernards, and rising freshman star Brody Watt won the 3,200 in 9:49.05 and was second in the 1,600 in 4:25.52 for Bernards.
Senior Joziah Johnson led the charge for Parsippany. He won the 55 hurdles in 7.97, was first in the 400 in 51.51, and ran in the winning 4x400.

GIRLS HIGHLIGHTS
The Shaw sisters, Anna and Kate, combined for 36 points to lead Mendham to a 57-52 over runner-up Voorhees.
Anna, a junior, won the 1,600 in 5:14.80 and was second in the 800, and Kate, a freshman, finished first in the 3,200 in 11:34.90, and was second to Anna in the 1,600.
Senior Emma Pettegrove was a triple winner for Voorhees. She won the 400 in 1:00.56, was first in the 800 in 2:20.62, and she Pettegrove was a member of the victorious 4x400 (4:13.69).

BOYS HIGHLIGHTS
Chatham, led by distance ace Ryan Beegle continued its best season in school indoor history by capturing its first sectional title.
Beegle won the 1,600 (4:23.54) and the 800 (1:59.69) as Chatham, which recently won its first Morris County crown, ranaway with the championship by outscoring runner-up Rahway, 75-36. Chatham also picked up wins from Filip Gache, who broke his own school record with a time of 6.59 in the 55 dash, Ted Joel in the pole vault (13-0), and its 4x400 relay (3:33.66).
Senior Nathaniel Rayan of Scotch Plains-Fanwood, one of the state's biggest breakout stars this season, took over the state lead in the 55 hurdles by winning the North Jersey, Sec. 2 Group 3 race in 7.43.

GIRLS HIGHLIGHTS
North Hunterdon scored in nine of the 10 events and 13 girls scored as the Lions rolled to its second straight title, 81-56 over runner-up Middletown South.
Junior Cassidy Roop won the 3,200 in 11:33.87 for North Hunterdon and was third in the 1,600 in 5:26.29. Senior Paige Boyce paced second in both the 800 (2:24.70) and the 1,600 (5:07.64), and junior Danielle DiEsso was second in the 400 (59.53), third in the 55 dash (7.60), and ran a leg in the third-place 4x400.
